Job Description:

This is an opportunity for an individual who is looking to gain experience at a fast-paced, innovative tech start-up in a developing and exciting industry (ESG).

As part of the Business Development Team, you will have the opportunity to aid in the strategic growth of an ESG software solution already being used by some of the world’s most prominent companies. You will receive fortnightly 1-on-1s with your manager to give and receive feedback, to improve your knowledge in the sustainability domain, and to improve your skills to become a sales leader.

This is a fully remote role with in-person bi-monthly meet ups in London.

Responsibilities:

  • Quota-carrying responsibilities in a business development team
  • Building a pipeline through a variety of mediums (cold calling, LinkedIn, emails, etc.)
  • Keeping up to date with industry trends, to be a strong communicator to prospects
  • Helping meet ad hoc sales needs and support for senior sales members
  • Sales operations tasks, such as contact cleaning, pipeline management, and more
  • Develop prospecting ideas, to be shared with the team, helping develop campaigns

Requirements

Required:

  • 2-4 years of experience in sales, preferably in B2B enterprise sales
  • Experience using CRMs and/or Workflow tools, preferably HubSpot
  • Experience in a quota-carrying role, meeting targets
  • Aptitude for technology and an organised approach to tasks, with great attention to detail
  • Sense of initiative and a fast learner with a strong work ethic, who can work in a small team as well as independently 
  • An interest and willingness to progress in an ESG company
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
  • The permanent right to work in the UK

Desired:

  • Fluency in an additional European language
  • Experience with sales operations / enablement tools, such as Apollo
  • Experience in ESG/tech solutions
